Can't see the roof or rear,but it looks like a 1957-59 Hawk,I think its a '59? |

Either 1956 or 1957. Cannot see whether or not it has fins. The fronts of both years were the same. |

After further research, I am changing this listing to 1956. The 1956 front fender lamps were mounted back of the headlamp rims a few inches on the fenders while '57's were nearly touching the rims. Also, the raised hood center section on '57's ran all the way back to the rear of the hood while the '56's were much shorter. |

Ah! The extra photo shows this is actually a 1958 (and I should have noticed the barely visible side grille lattice in the main photo). Also, notice the small "finlets" on the fender top lamps, a 1958 exclusive. Am I seeing a "B" pillar? If so, Silver Hawk, which is the listing I will use pending any other photos. Also, there appears to be no chrome band at the side window base, which would also indicate Silver Hawk. The Golden Hawk had a wide chrome band in this position. Thanks for the thumbnail, antp! -- Last edit: 2016-06-29 20:46:39 |
