Isn't that what Gd stands for? I initially listed as GD Turbo but would be a lone example. |

It depends what it really is. A genuine mid-engine 5 Turbo, or a body-kitted replica based on the normal 5 Gordini (UK name for 5 Alpine because of trademark issues). Our Gordini arrived in April 79 and became Gordini Turbo in May 82, with final edition as Le Car 2 Turbo in May 84 until disappearing Oct 84. |

It is genuine. (voice over: "extremely rare GT 5 Maxi Turbo, mid-engined, rear wheel drive, 325 brake horsepower on a 912 kg super lightweight frame, this Group B conquering rally car is ferociously, bowel looseningly fast.") I will add Maxi and you may drop Gordini if you want. (which came from https://totalcarcheck.co.uk/FreeCheck?vdx=hcj280x ) |

@chico; They are often confused. The 1527cc Maxi Turbo was made 1985-87 (December1984?) They have a rather different appearance..... This may be the retired rally car they claim it to be, if so rather the Renault 5 Turbo “Cévennes" |

Indeed, it's not a Maxi, nor a GT Turbo or a Gordini. |
