Likely to have been a FIAT at that time, I think |

And in UK? |

Iveco-Fiat(not Iveco-Ford you guess,'cause that agree was signed in late Eighties',when they were been replaced by [Z-Range]-cab Zeta/Turbozeta) |

I will have to trawl through some old archives, but I think that they were badged as FIAT NC75, in line with the 7.5 tonne weight limit. The brand stayed as FIAT for some time, with a separate IVECO badge on the grille. |

Maybe the Iveco-Fiat 75 NC(not NC 75)you quotes was a special production for foreign markets;I recall that at home were available those loading rates: --Fiat(later Iveco-Fiat)50 NC(5-ton.) --Fiat(later Iveco-Fiat)55 NC(5,5 ton.) --Fiat(later Iveco-Fiat)65 NC(6,5 ton.) --Fiat(later Iveco-Fiat)80 NC(8-ton.) --Fiat(later Iveco-Fiat)100 NC(10 ton.) |

OK - found a copy of "Truck" Magazine from September 1976, complete with an Iveco feature. These models are badged as OM55 and OM75, depending upon whether the gross weight is 5.5 or 7.5 tonnes. They have no IVECO badging at all, and look just like this one. |

OM 55 and OM 75 were another badging(OM,later Iveco-OM) as marketed in Italy the pre-Z series |

It was just Fiat or OM in those years, even if had a small Iveco badge. Edit: made sicne 1972. -- Last edit: 2013-03-06 16:39:22 |
