It is not a Fiat. Assuming the date of 1913 is correct the car must be almost new. |

I discussed with an old car expert and he says it's a 1912-1913 Benz. |

Filming date is unknown, but it was presumably January 1912 or earlier because the power station is not yet visible through the Big Beachgate. Construction of the station began in 1912 and finished in time for the film’s premiere in 1913. In 1908 there were 6 cars in Tallinn, in the summer of 1913 74 and in July 1914 162. At the start of WWI 67 of them were confiscated. Four Benzes are known to have existed during that time. They belonged to: -Vassili Ivanov, Karl-Wilhelm Sebald, Aleksander Tenneberg -B. von Maydell -Ewert von Renteln -Baron Bernhard Uexküll |
