was thinking soviet GAZ BTR 60 http://www.exarmyvehicles.com/media/galleries/1681/btr-60_03.jpg but the rear exaust looks like the romanian variant called TAB-71 ![]() Link to "www.tanks-encyclopedia.com" -- Last edit: 2017-08-21 19:31:56 |

Unless it's a cut and paste job, the photo probably shows Soviet forces in Afghanistan. |

in that case it would be some modernised version of the GAZ BTR-60 |

I noticed a problem the BTR 60 seems to always had a central stair !! http://militarytechnics.com/files/4613/5540/8674/BTR60.jpg the TAB 71 din not have it like in the main pic so that is very likely indeed a romanian TAB-71 ! -- Last edit: 2017-08-21 22:29:56 |

I think that one in center is GAZ BTR-60 of Afghan army. Rest on left side is Soviet army GAZ BTR-80's |

argghhhh that explains the weird exaust, it's the newer BTR 80 but if you can't see the front !!! so indeed left is a BTR 60 right a BTR 80 |
