It looks like a rare Renault (Alliance) GTA convertible. AMC's last ditch effort to boost Alliance sales by making a GTI fighter. I thought the convertible body style was unique to the North American market? The others are listed as Origin: France. -- Last edit: 2017-08-31 23:30:35 |

It's interesting how the Renault GTA was 2 totally different cars at the same time. And they nearly sold the Alpine-based Renault GTA in the US in the late 1980s to confuse things further - http://boitierrouge.com/2014/06/16/alpine-gta-us-un-vrai-collector/ - but pulled it after a run of pre-production cars were built. |
