S1 107in Station Wagon , must be incredibly rare in USA as like hens teeth in UK. |

Book says listed in US from 1957 (although calls it 109"). |

Series 1 long wheelbase Land Rovers WERE 109in for new diesel engine from 57-58 but it is very difficult to tell them from 107in . I have stuck to 107in if not known and they are generally known as 107in to distinguish from 1958 on Series 11's 109in. But if we know this is a 109in....... Happy to stick with 107" - my book is not totally reliable for micro-detail, as I've found typos and/or short cuts in its info before. |
