This will be a Canadian sourced Australian assembled, by Holdens, sedan with a unique to OZ specification. Thee is a new website working on the details - http://www.ozgm.com/ - but so far there is not much '50s stuff. It would seem that this will be a six as the site says no V8s in Oz until 1960. In NZ we had V8s from 1956. This car was probably called a Deluxe as I don't think the 150/210 names were used in NZ or Oz. -- Last edit: 2017-10-29 19:45:13 |

Indeed, they were sold as simply as 1956 Chevrolet in their local market. |

I think they were just sold as "Chevrolet" here, although they had "Bel-Air" badging. -- Last edit: 2017-10-30 01:46:30 |
