What happened to it? Did it get destroyed? ![]() |

No, there is only lots of dust on it at the end of the chase. It runs through a grille but it does not seem to have damaged the car. The car is seen along the whole movie, except the few first minutes and the ending scene. -- Last edit: 2005-09-18 22:54:09 |

Yes, this E36 325is is used a lot in this movie. But nothing spectacular. No challenging, or intense driving or stunts. It is driven rather sedately. I don't think they break 80mph on the highway - what a waste. The car is never revved hard either. No hard cornering, over-steering, skids, burn-outs or anything - it just drives very casually. Boring. I don't recall hearing any engine or exhaust sounds at all from this E36. What a let-down. |

In one scene the interior is from an 5er E34 or 7er E32 but definitely not from an E36. |

Did we even watch the same film? There's a lot of high-speed freeway weaving, not to mention a nice reverse 180. And no, the car wasn't really damaged apart from getting really dirty, having the car phone ripped out, and the cigarette lighter being thrown out the window. |

2 years and a half around. The car wasn't new (1991) when I took it. The company selled it, and I changed for an Alfa Romeo 156 2,4JTD another kind of "little bomb" , but I prefered the "in line 6cylinder" than the "Diesel 5 cyl"... |

In the main pic you can see the stunt driver on his walkie-talkie. |

I never had a 325i (much less the two door is) just the 328i which replaced the 325. I would agree that the E36 were and still are awesome cars (well ahead of their time) Power output didn’t seem real high, but, they must have had a good power to weight ratio (or at least it seemed so) The only thing I didn’t like about mine was that it kept blowing fuses (I never did find out why) Other than that, I loved it. I wouldn’t mine having another one. |

they used a larger 5 series for the sex scene at the end. it's evident by the fact its clearly a 4 door car interior instead of a 2 door. |
