Not a J model, side panel is the wrong shape and no black end caps on the silencers, it's either a 74 L model or 75 M.

2 things spring to mind, it's either been repainted as it's not in a factory colour (is it white or silver?) or it's an ex Polizei GT750 Patroller.

 yes it is an ex Police bike in white !
conclusion of analysis by the sad biker:
1975 GT 750-L / M Patroller some refer to as GT 750-P L / M
there have been Patrollers from 1972 model A ; J ; K ;... until 1975/76 L / M it should be 1974+ by eleqtronique siren

No, made for (West) Germany, according to the link above your Polizei bought about 100 of them, must have been a pleasant change from BMW's, a GT is great fun, and that noise & smell...... ;)

they differed in look which explains rare fairing!
