The W in W-620 would mean a tandem rear axle, which is clearly not present. The 5-bar grille indicates a "small" 500-Series (1949-50 only) / 600-Series. As the trucks from this truck line shared their cab with the New Design trucks, the model year of this one can be identified thanks to the 1951+ vent windows, but also possibly the 1952+ push button door handle (hard to identify it, here). So it's either a 1951 HC-620 / HCR-620, a 1952 630-42 / D630-47 or a 1953 620-36 / 630-42 / D630-47 / D660-47 (I'm not sure that this list is exhaustive). For consistency, all these models are gathered as HC-Series in the IMCDb. |
