This being before the Internet, I think they modeled all the cars - including this RR- on very specific models somewhere in Japan. Now if we only knew which ones... |

They didn’t do it very well then. No prewar Royce has its radiator visible that far forward of the front wheels, (main and thumb 1) and then has the ability to move it back nearly to where it should be. It also has variable diameter side mounts and disappearing sidelights and landau irons, and a variable quantity of bonnet shutters. A horizontal black strip above the door handles comes, goes, moves and varies its thickness. Thumb 6 shows a body with both doors locking onto the B pillar, the remainder are not like that having hinges at the rear.
