There're a few clues that can be useful for an ID. All 760's, also the TURBO, had chromed (s/s) inserst in the door handles and also shiny aluminium around the windows. As this one doesn't, it's very likely a 740 of some sort. The wheels are those fitted as standard on the GLT or TURBO versions, but was also available as optional extras. Also black around the windows might argue towards a GLT or TURBO, but there were some entry versions fitted with that as well, some of which were called "Black Line". As the grille is an ordinary GL one Link to "fr.wikipedia.org").jpg I think I'll vote for a (1986-89) Volvo 740 GL. If not, it must be a GLT. |
