The paint scheme is 1972 Yamaha YDS-7 250 but, that front disc brake (Japanese home market only) may mean that this was called an RD 250, very confusing, I imagine, even for those who built them.... |

A little more info, it's actually a Japanese home market 1970 DX 250, still struggling with the disc brake though, the brake is OEM Yamaha but is a couple of years early (73-> for 250/350 2 strokes) and is on the wrong side.
