I think I'd go for post-war Hawk - wheel trim rings and thicker bonnet side trim. |

It's a Pullman. The windscreen is too high for the Hawk and denotes a coach-built body. In addition, it does not have the sliding head of the other models and I'm told that what appears to be a fabric sunroof is actually there to prevent the large metal panel drumming under adverse conditions. This is certainly the case on our example. Its probably post-war as, I think, pre-war it was more likely to have a split screen but I'm no expert. -- Last edit: 2023-03-04 21:33:09 |
