The Jaguar Mark VII only made its appearance in 1951.In 1950, the Mark V was listed.It is therefore not a 1950 but at the earliest a 1951 Jaguar. |

Yes , my view is that you absolutely should reconsider all year data on these early fifties Jaguars .They are not correct on the site.The Mark VII saloon with the six cylinder twin cam engine of 3.4 litre of the XK 120 was launched in 1951 and was replaced after some modifications by the Mark VIII in 1957.In 1950 Jaguar listed the XK 120 and the push-rod mark V.The push-rod engines were dropped altogether with the launch of the Mark VII in 1951. |
