In 1965 after overhaul at Aldenham it emerged with a red Saunders Roe body and was transferred to the Central Area. RT1062 was sold by LT in the spring of 1970 and after serving with a number of owners it passed into preservation. Having since been converted to permanent open top and shunted out to Canada), it has of course lost the front roof mounted route number box.". |
