 Metallic paint and alloys makes this more than likely a Volvo GL (with the 240-bit left out, which was special for the U.S./Canadian market). MY 1980-82. The new bumpers arrived for MY 1983, didn't they.

 If it's that old, then it'd be a 244 by the way it's trimmed out and that it's a North American spec.
