And how did he know? Could just be a Touring Limousine by Mulliner Park Ward. -- Last edit: 2012-07-16 01:41:45 |

Does it depend on what he means by a Jankel? Jankel was the official coachbuilder of stretched limousines for Rolls-Royce 83-88 making about 130 Spur-based oil tankers, as well as then offering their own special conversions - http://www.jankel.com/about-us/ , Link to "www.1000sel.com" . If it's a Spur II as claimed, that was 89+ and you may be right because that was after the official RR conversion phase, but I'll leave that question to you. |

Thing is we can't see whether the extended part is in the middle or behind the rear door. |

Check out the thumbnail... There seems to be a break in the chrome trim above the middle section suggesting an open door. I could be wrong, as it is difficult to make out, but there definitely seems to be something that has moved from its position in the main picture. Secondly, in both pictures the chauffeur is stood by the middle section. I'd assume he opened and closed the door for his passenger. Still, it's mostly curcumstantial evidence but it would suggest the door is in the middle and that as such it is a Touring Limousine. Maybe someone with the movie could confirm the position of the door? We know when it appears on account of tge time tag so that we know? |
