It's not really correct, that this tractor it US made. The (very few) Harvester-tractors, whch were sold in Germany, were also built here. The factory was in use only for very few years. |

Isn't that an US-designed model that was just built locally? |

Also few International Harvester Loadstar trucks were assembled in Heidelberg, Germany in 1963-1966. Only 300 were built. |

As far as I have it, this is a McCormick International Farmall D-series to be very precise, perhaps a D-430 like in Link to "www.tractorshed.com" |

Here it is: http://www.ihace.de/01_schlepper/0430/430.htm I am now certain it must be a D-430 IH Farmall |

Sorry, garco, I missed your question. As IH is the mother company that branded identical tractors with any or all of these names, International Harvester would be safest, but I am reasonably sure that this is a Farmall 430, so make it Farmall as far as I am concerned. Any votes against? |

meanwhile there are identical tractors called D-430 correctly but here 430 missing the D- of D - series all made in D ![]() McCormick International respective IH International like the above one made in germany it would be better to list them all as McCormick International D-430 or either IH Farmall D-430 -- Last edit: 2012-09-17 21:58:57 |
