As it is stated on the door, it should be a Mercedes-Benz 328. After that it's always a problem what is written before the 328. What is for sure is that it's a L (GER = Lastkraftwagen = ENG Truck) and that it has a P (GER = Pullman Kabine = ENG Cab Over Engine), but after that one has to see more of the truck. Models available were: LP = Lastkraftwagen = Truck LPK = Lastkraftwagen mitt Kipper = Truck with flatbed LPA = Lastkraftwagen mit Allradantrieb = Truck with Four or Six wheel drive LPAK = Lastkraftwagen mit Allradantrieb und Kipper = Truck with Four or Six wheel drive and flatbed LPS = Lastkraftwagen mit Sattelschlepper = Truck with a rig Also a special version with an additional letter B = Betonmischer Aufbau = Special chassis for carrying a concrete mixer, was available. On vehicles without the Cab Over Engine, the letter P was left out. Hence it's at least a Mercedes-Benz LP 328. |
