... or Escort (hatch)? |

Orion by the plate? The grille is more typical for the Escort, but maybe some British Orions had it too... 1st MY for these was 1991 (intro. in late 1990). -- Last edit: 2018-03-12 18:47:44 |

Not directly. imdb lists Glasgow, Midlothian and Peterhead (Aberdeenshire). Nothing near Glasgow would have such a flat skyline without background hills, so Peterhead seems best bet. |

And by the calm sea and the sunlight coming from the West on the left, it's very likely at the Eastern coast. |

Confirms Escort Hatch. Combination of a spoiler, trims and no cladding probably suggests a particular version. Maybe a c1991 Encore? Shows 5 door hatch, so Escort. No trace of H654 VTH and seems a fake combination, although 90-91 for early MkV seems right. Rear spoiler, glass sunroof, tints, side moulding but plastic wheel covers and no red inserts in bumpers might be July 91 Fresco edition on poverty Popular or maybe normal L. |

Glass's doesn't mention Encore until 1995as a rename of base model (originally Popular). But if your link with J plate is correct, seems Glass's missed a trick. Whichever version, I think we're in the same vein of a poverty version with added trinkets. |

Thanks guys, I went for it being an Orion solely as it was listed as a saloon at the time, though should have questioned it. -- Last edit: 2018-03-13 00:37:38 |
