It is clearly a Volvo/ Bolinder Munktell, most probably a number or one of the subsequent T-series from the 1950's, maybe a T20 like in this link: http://www.tractor.org.il/tractors/showTractor-en.asp?id=41, or a T22 like in this one: http://home.swipnet.se/fiffel/23.htm. What bothers me is the exit of the exhaust on the left, whereas both of those in the links are on the right. The exit on the rightt can also be seen on the BM350 Boxer in /vehicle_13983-Bolinder-Munktell-BM-350-Boxer.html. I would dare to say that this is the same tractor as the one right at the bottom of the page at http://www.bmsidan.se/mainpage/070316_martinsvensson.htm. Could our Swedish friends help us with a translation of the text that would clear this up for us? |

It is a Volvo T230 Victor, the same tractor as Bolinder-Munktell 230 Victor except for the color and labels. It's not a Volvo T-20-series since the the exhaust is to the right. The electrical starter can also be sighted, and if it wold have been a T-2* it would have been seen in this point of view. The air intake is not above the hood, so if it isn't damaged or modified the tractor is built between 1956 or 1957. From 1958 ht intake was raised in order to get cleaner air. It has a two cylinder diesel engine giving 30hp. The T-20-series had either petrol- (T-23 and T-25) or kerosoene-engines (T-21, T-22 and T-24). |

Tractor license plate P11041. P = Älvsborgs län. The car license belonged to a 1938 DKW in 1958. |
