The Express wasn't a wagon,but a window(or partially-panelled)van based on 145 coque,with roof height modified back and the add of a roof luggage rack in corrispondence of front seats(in some Scandinavian markets,like those of Norway,Danmark and Finland,was suitable probably as "varebil" or "pakettiauto"=goods'vehicle derived by a wagon) PS The same body variation was later available also on 1974 245 and 1979 240 Wagon(this late was marketed also in Italy--only with Turbo Diesel 6 cyl.VW--thru 1980 to 1984 circa) -- Last edit: 2007-06-23 01:17:52 |
