Not all T800s were built in Mexico.. In addition to Mexicali, Baja California (factory VIN code 'F'), T800s were also built at their Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec, Canada (Code'M') and Chillicothe, Ohio, USA (Code 'J'). Even if they were Mexican-built, trucks destined for the US or Canada were not branded with the Kenmex name. Great example is a 2004 T800 I drove (VIN 3WKDA48X44F054577) was built in Mexico, yet it's branded as Kenworth. -- Last edit: 2018-03-24 03:52:46 |
