yes, MÜN = Münsingen in Landkreis Reutlingen today.

In this case a Seatb 127. But... are you really sure it is a Spanish plate and not a German one ? the TV series is set and filmed in Germany.

No generally, but if needed, yes.
The common size for the VW Käfer and all pre-1977 Fiat, the large one (34 x 20cm), had even an own name: "Kuchenblech" ("baking tin")

There was a slightly smaller size (28 x 20cm) and the small size for smaller motorbike and tractors (25,5 x 13cm).
There are other special sizes, for example the US-measures, but in some counties you may have discussions, if you want to have an unusal size for a car, when the 34 x 20 plate doesn't fit.
