Class is Van/MPV, not supermini. The Note is too big to be a kei car. |

^ but it's not a van (in the international use of the word; I know some Japanese estates were called Van in the 1960s) or an MPV either - it only really has 4 proper seats. So hatchback seems the best category. |

By definition an MPV should have more than 4 proper seats, and the Note is more like a rival to the Jazz, which is recognised as a hatchback. But these are fuzzy boundaries, particularly when makers claim their new Splodgemobile is somehow uniquely different from everyone else's splodgemobiles. |
