It's weird, the front look more Caprice to me. Looks like turn signals in the bumper, which was on the Caprice and 1979 Impala. Older roofline of 1977-79. Not sure where 1981 Caprice came from. |

It's not your eyes, the rest of it looks more Impala. Caprices didn't have the dog dish hubs. |

Visible here /vehicle_1144655-Ford-Bronco-II-U14-1984.html is another shot which reveals that it has the 1980+ roofline and that the lighting is playing tricks on us. And from my aforementioned comment, it has the 1981-85 Caprice front end. It's just a sparsely trimmed Caprice, which odd as it is, seems to be the most likely scenario. |
