Twin Cam wheels... no? |

Yes, but also used on Deluxe version of ordinary 1600, mainly after film date. |

Thanks! They have to be rather hard to find. I'm having trouble finding a good single replacement for one of my regular late style 1600 steel wheels. |

Effectively what happened was the Twin Cam had too many reliability issues, so MG pulled the plug on it in June 60. But they'd got big stocks of the wheels, the Twink's all-round Dunlop disc brakes, better seats and special steering racks, so they re-engined the Twink with the normal engine and launched it as a Deluxe addition (both Roadster and coupe) until the stocks were exhausted. Apparently there were 396 Deluxe Mk1s and 313 Mk2s, although later ones became diluted as the Twink part bins emptied. |
