It is a Hillman Avenger (1970-76). Some background trivia: From 1977-1979 it was rebadged as Chrysler Avenger, and after that until 1981 as Talbot Avenger. In the US it was sold as Plymouth Cricket from 1971-73. Chrysler do Brasil made it from 1972 to 1981 as the Dodge 1800 and, later, the Dodge Polara. After 1981 a facelifted version of the car was made until 1990 in Argentina by the Volkswagen-Audi Group as the VW 1500. |

In Sweden these cars sold as Sunbeam 1300, 1500 or 1600 between 1973-77, the last year they sold as Chrysler Sunbeam 1600. A qualified guess is that it´s a 1600 De Luxe since most of them were that model. |

Coachline and vinyl roof makes me think 1973 1600 Super rather than DL in terms of UK spec, but local knowledge will be much more precise. |

Is there a way of making it clear this is an Avenger so it can be picked up by Avenger searches? |
