sergej ◊ 2007-07-09 01:10	Yes, they were used as ambulance car in CS in 60's and 70's. But instead od Renault 1600 engine they had DKW 1000 two stroke 3 cylinder engine, I remember them years ago on our streets and the sound was characteristic (like Wartburg or Barkas). If was the older type,guess was gifted of DKW 980 cc.(so IMV 1000);given that Renault-powered IMV 1600 was launched years later(at least at time when IMV got around 1972 license to build Renault cars in YU--its 1647 cc.powerplant is the same of R 16),that into photo could be,with more probability a IMV 1000(the IMV 1600 should have two chrome mustaches on grille,with at centre the writing"1600")
