In the commentary on the DVD of Part 1, Bob Gale said that the Packard ran a lot better than the De Lorean did most of the time, Whereas the De Lorean sometimes wouldn't start at all, The Packard started & ran every time, Bob Gale also said that everyone in the crew wanted that Packard because it just looked & ran great. |

I'm sure the Packard ran better than the DeLorean. I've had a 22nd series DeLuxe Eight sedan since the late 1980s, and it continues to be the most reliable car I own. |
