Round badge was for sure introduced in Marea later - not before 2000 and I suspect in mid or even late 2000, as there are many 2000 Mareas with old one. EDIT: OK, I give up - this movie was released in January(!) 2000, this way I don't have idea how to explain that so many 2000 cars have old badge... Anyway still it was not replaced before MY 2000. -- Last edit: 2018-08-21 23:46:21 |

In UK - which may have been slower than LHD countries - there was a minor change on some Mareas in March 99 (ABS, aircon added), then May 99 2.0 litre models went from 147 bhp to 154 bhp. Then December 2000 more tweaking - 2.0 litre models went to 150 bhp, most models got body colour side strips, front fogs, headlight wash/wipe and various cabin trinkets. This one has side strips but no fogs or wash/wipe. |

After March and May, in July 1999 cover of British brochure looked this way: Link to "www.ebay.com" (still old badge) Italian wiki says badge was changed in Mareas in 2000 https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiat_Marea 3-star role of this car and pics taken in Alfa dealer perhaps mean this movie was made in cooperation with FIAT, maybe it is some specially prepared car to promote Fiat's new logo in this film ![]() -- Last edit: 2018-08-22 16:11:46 |
