The red car? Zastava Koral. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zastava_Koral |

Or Yugo. http://freeweb.deltha.hu/zastava.in.hu/yugo1984.htm According to wiki both names were used in Yugoslavia. |

I think 'Yugo' was only the make for Export in the US. In (former) Yugaslovia the make was 'Zastava', the model Yugo (or Jugo?). |

I'm looking now at my catalogue from 1990, there are these cars with yugoslavian plates and "Yugo" badges there is also a "Y" logo instead of "Z". Anyway I have always a problem with these names. |

In Kosovo (part of ex-Yugoslavia) I saw many of these badged as Yugo, not only as Zastava. Sometimes with both names actually (a car repaired with parts from another I guess). "Yugo" was on the front fender of most of the cars: ftp://pub.antp.be/antp/perso/Kosovo/DSCF0076.JPG ftp://pub.antp.be/antp/perso/Kosovo/DSCF0078.JPG ftp://pub.antp.be/antp/perso/Kosovo/DSCF0074.JPG ftp://pub.antp.be/antp/perso/Kosovo/DSCF0077.JPG -- Last edit: 2007-07-20 18:04:17 |

Dans quelle ville as-tu pris ces photos? Pristina? Je ne pense pas que ce soit Pec ou Prizren. |

Priština en effet, dans les alentours du Grand Hôtel. J'espérais pouvoir retrouver la vue aérienne mais l'image sur Google Maps est très mauvaise pour cette région ![]() |

There is an another name - at the beginning the project was known as Zastava 102, we can use it as a chassis. I guess also it is to early for the name Koral. I propose to list it under first name - Zastava Yugo. -- Last edit: 2008-01-20 04:19:52 |

Yugo! |

Correction: When Zastava was still the make the model name was written as Jugo, by J. http://www.avto-magazin.si/avtomobilski-testi/zastava_jugo_45-8644.aspx |

In ex-Yugoslavian languages there is not "Y" letter, so if you want to write "Yugo" correctly in serbian/croatian/bosnian etc. you have to write "J" on the begining, "Jugo". You pronounce it same way as Yugo. |

But two badges were used "Jugo" and "Yugo" later. |
