Tall guy on the left is a young JfS while the other one should be Dsl, I suppose. |

I have never worn a straw boater. And Moseley Grammar School was nowhere near Eton. Cob is a Series III for horizontal numberplate. |

I have worn glasses since I was 5. Like dsl, the grammar school I attended insisted that we wore caps, a straw boater would not have lasted more than 30 seconds in the hands of the local thugs from the nearby secondary modern. -- Last edit: 2018-08-22 23:17:11 |

Well, it was up to you to be the real thug. Believe me, it's possible to be a respected minger despite a middle/upperclass background -- Last edit: 2018-08-22 23:24:10 |

No -ish needed. It was founded in 1572 under a Royal Charter of Elizabeth I. Fees are up to £12,850 per term, with three terms per academic year (2017/18) and the 4th most expensive boarding school in the Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference. Harrow's uniform includes straw hats, morning suits, top hats and canes. Its alumni include 8 former British or Indian Prime Ministers (including Peel, Palmerston, Baldwin, Churchill and Nehru), foreign politicians, former and current members of both houses of the UK Parliament, 5 kings and several other members of various royal families, 3 Nobel Prize winners, 20 Victoria Cross and 1 George Cross holders, and many figures in the arts and sciences. There's a Wolseley Hornet in the background in Snowberry White with Maroon roof. |

Rare red over ivory Riley Elf or Wolseley Hornet parked on the left in the background. Worth listing but far. |
