Cary Grant drove that Mercedes 220 S A/C. This car should be included with 3 stars minimum.

It's said that one of car builder/customizer George Barris' first film jobs was making aluminum components for this scene for the cars to comically "crumple".

Haha, I can believe that! This film is fantastic in how it takes aa thrilling suspense route and adding a good dose of humor. Poor "Laura's MAR-sed-eez", hahaha! Hitchcock could always get a sense of passive aggressive satisfaction, and it shows when the authority of the police is undermined by being caught in the middle of this wreck.
