I doubt it. Since the one in The Road to Guantanamo is a right hand drive model filmed in Pakistan, I would think that it was made by Ssangyong like Australian-market MB 140s, and perhaps shipped CKD to Pakistan for local assembly. I doubt that it's Iranian. |

Wherever it was made, in Vietnam it's called the Mercedes-Benz MB140. Here's maintenance advice from the Mercedes-Benz Vietnam website: Link to "www.mercedes-benz.com.vn" Vietnam imposes high tariffs on imported vehicles, so the MB140 was probably assembled in Vietnam using kits shipped from Ssangyong in South Korea. |
