By that stop sign, the class should be school bus. |

School buses, by definition, are YELLOW. This is most likely an activity bus or a former school bus. Activity buses do have stop signs. Bus, single deck was correct. |

Hate to break it to you, but once a school bus, always a school bus. It was purpose-built as a school bus and that's what the category is for. Its current colour can't change this fact. |

Technically you are correct. However as stated by Wiki - An "activity bus" is a school bus used for providing transportation for students. Instead of being used in route service (home to school), the intended use of an activity bus is for transporting students solely for extracurricular activities. Depending on individual state and provincial regulations, the bus used for this purpose can either be a regular yellow school bus or a dedicated unit for this purpose. Dedicated activity buses, while not painted yellow, are fitted with the similar interiors as well as the same traffic control devices for dropping off students (at other schools). To me a school bus is and will always be yellow in color. |

What about a schoolbus seen in a black & white movie? |
