In the same scene, you can see a Ford Escort: /vehicle_1187850-Ford-Escort.html : the mk3 Escort was never sold in Australia (Escort was replaced by the Laser in 1981). In today's day and age, they probably would recreate a fake UK street for such a brief scene.
