Certainly a Mk2 as this had over-riders and the Mk1 usually didn't. The tail lights on the rear wings are additions and mark it out as a later model which is most certainly acting. Both Mk1 and Mk2 were post war cars but the pre war Humber 16 was very similar. This seems to be the same car as appears in another entry on the database (the same additional tail lights, Partners in Crime) and pictures for that entry shows it without the (correct) wheel embellishers and possibly not displaying a "Hawk" badge at the front end of the chrome strip on the side bonnet although the picture is not clear enough to see. The headlight size would, however, be correct for a Hawk. The chrome plates fitted over the front of the rear wings are incorrect - they should be rubber. -- Last edit: 2021-04-02 03:11:32 |
