Having driven an Austin A30 in its original state many years ago, the re-engine ploy is a very good idea. The original 803cc engine managed to be both gutless and fragile, as later modified it became a much better power unit. Presumably the gearbox was also changed, and I hope the brakes were looked at as well. |

They were not. The A35 had factory fitted indicators which were above the stop/tail lamps.
