Looks like a Triumph TR-6 with a different grille. |

I think it is a Triumph Herald. |

Yes, it's a 1968+ Herald 13/60 Convertible. |

Hi guys IMHO it is not a Herald 13\60. On this picture of the same car you see an inner wooden vast panel and a dashboard known to the Triumph Vitesse: Link to "picasaweb.google.com" and here the same car with Vitesse boot and Vitesse aluminium coated bumber > Link to "picasaweb.google.com" |

The car is essentially a 2 litre Vitesse with a Herald body. The original Vitesse was a maroon coloured Saloon registered VZO 2 and the donor body was a LHD Herald 13/60. The car was also fitted with a Triumph 2000 gearbox with overdrive. The 3 Smiths gauges in the centre of the dash were added during the conversion. The film soundtrack was of a 4 cylinder herald and not the straight 6 of the 2 litre Vitesse. In the scenes where Michael Kane drives off, the car was pulled by rope out of shot - not a lot of people know that! |

VZO 2 was early 69 plate, so a Mk2 Vitesse underneath. |
