Or 1955-1959 S1 (which appearance is identical) As only the engine type and the year of manufactuirng makes the difference all S1 and S2 should be called here better S-type, as we are nit able to open the bonnet and have a look. If the plate is 1760 JZ 75 as I guess, it is from 1960 (though the car could be older, but that gives more probability for the S2). |

I have no doubt that you are right with the plate, but at least we do not know for the car. S1 and S2 are identical so it remains gambling if one say which one of them it is |

French plates usually stay on the cars. It is not as reliable as UK plates, but still a good info. We should list it as 1955 S-Type? Or is it better to not include the year? Or 1960 like the plate? -- Last edit: 2006-08-11 19:05:02 |
