The angle of the front of the hood (wider at the bottom than at the top) suggests it is a "84-series", most probably a 484 judged by the size. Then, it could also be a "33-series" from the seventies, e.g. a 433 or 533, which would gel better with the square front of the hood!? -- Last edit: 2007-08-05 23:17:51 |

That is an old "wheatland" model. They had the standard tread front axle, orchard-style fenders, and smaller rear tires. Built low and heavy, for tillage work. This would be an 06 or 56 series (by the small grill in the hood). Which exact model I don't know. |

Movie was filmed in Manitoba. Tractor has style of 706 and 806 Wheatland. Front tires seem narrower than what an 806 would have. |

The correct model for this would be International Harvester 706. This is not a 484 and this is not European-made. |

Look at the faded paint, the frame rail, the cast iron rear wheel, the Wheatland fender, the lack of a black stripe, the 706 engine, the straight-up-and-down grille….. This tractor screams 706! |
