Wolseley 18/85. Looks like a J suffix, if so Mk2. Just had the suspension pumped up by the looks of its ride height, and sporting the obligatory roof rack that comes just before a trip to the scrap yard, -- Last edit: 2018-12-01 16:04:16 |

If GWW 79xJ = Leeds, Nov 70. Looks as if it has side trim strip as 18/85 S, but position is too high - compare![]() so strange reflection or home-made. |

That’s why I didn’t call it as an S. Both my father, (EAB756J) and my father-in-law (YJU880J) had the S, the worst bit of the cars was the power steering, leaky racks and dodgy pumps on both cars. Nice cars to ride in, not quite so nice to drive. Dad followed the Wolseley with a 1750 Maxi, but Mum didn’t like the gearchange, so a Morris 1800 Mk3 (NDH558M), without pas, replaced the Maxi. -- Last edit: 2018-12-01 19:41:10 |
