Quotes from xkdata: "An original right-hand-drive model, the drophead coupé we offer here was supplied new in September 1956 to a Lieutenant R C Hallinen. Shortly afterwards, the car was shipped to Dusseldorf as Lieutenant Hallinen had been stationed in Germany. During subsequent ownership, the motor car was to remain in mainland Europe until last summer [2002] when it was repatriated." "Interesting that SKV 711 spent so much time in Europe. However it must have returned briefly in the early 1960s as it makes an appearance in an episode of the Edgar Wallace Mysteries, filmed by Merton Park Studios in 1962. The episode is called "Candidate For Murder" and is on Volume 3 of the newly released collection of these films. The car is driven by a character called Robert Vaughan, played by John Justin.
