I would just call it a Firebird. Trans Ams usually had hood graphics and a scoop. |

@mike - Spoilers could be had on any Firebird. Take rims/wheels off a wrecked TA and put on your Firebird. Sounds like the person was trying to create a TA. |

Looking at period brochures and Google, the screaming chicken B-pillar emblem was only on Trans Am, and, crucially, the vent behind the front wheel (visible in mike's first thumbnail) was unique to the Trans Am as well. The preponderance of evidence points to Trans Am here. Hood graphics and scoops were so 1970s ![]() |

Or someone made a Trans Am out of a wrecked Firebird. Not beyond the realm of possibility. Burt Reynolds loved his TA in Smokey and the Bandit. I prefer the Knight Rider stealthy KITT look. |
