Also this bus has a SKV (Svenska Karosseriverkstäderna, (ENG: Swedish coach workshops)) body. But this time in the livery of either SJ (Statens Järnvägar, the Swedish state owned train company), which wasn't strange as they bougt many of these buses, or SL (Storstockholms Lokaltrafik (ENG: Greater Stockholm municipal traffic)). The SJ livery is slightly paler then that of SL. The SKV statement is, partly, because of the corrugated metal beneath the side strip beneath the windows. That corrugated part is specific for SKV buses of that era. Partly also for the paint job and many other things http://www.tugboatlars.se/ScaniaBuss.htm , https://www.omnibuss.se/forum/index.php?topic=55644.0 , The chassis is more difficult as one cannot see any wheel or other distinguishing feature. Hence it can be either a Volvo or a Scania-Vabis. |
