It has the chrome side strip of a [W 112] 300 SE, but it is really? I believe it is, because it has the smaller 13" wheels (before MY 1966) together with twin exhaust pipes. (The 220 SE [W 111] had only a single exhaust pipe.) It also says "300" in the fifth thumb just below the heater controll arms on the facia. -- Last edit: 2019-01-10 22:49:17 |

Strange plate - UJZ 924R could almost be a 1976-77 UK combination if we had used Z within this format. But we did not, and this is a 1967 episode .... |

Just spotted the GB plate in 2nd thumb, so this UK dressing-up is faker than a very fake thing. By late 1967, the suffix sequence had only got to F, with R still 10 years into the future. |
