It is a Peugeot, if I see it right a 302. The lights were modified, possibly a wartime modification, as the lights behind the grille illuminate the grille itself which makes a good target for low flying aircraft and hence reduces the driver's life-expectancy. |

This car has a flat windscreen and therefore it's a 202 (1938), not a 302. Since January 1st 1938 there was a Dutch law that prescribed two headlights less than 40 cm from the side of the car, so Peugeot x02 models had to have different headlights in Holland. After the war this law has been 'forgotten' for a while, then in the sixties people who wanted to import a second hand Peugeot x02 fixed the headlamps of a 2CV, just for getting a Dutch lisence plate... |

This looks a post WWII ( 1946-8) Peugeot 202 , with the plain Michelin wheel discs rather than the Pilot wheels that were standard on pre wwII cars |
